Why We Started ChattyCubs
I’m a proud dad of two daughters, and ChattyCubs began with a bedtime routine and a problem to solve. When my eldest was learning her first words, I bought the usual books — but found many of them overwhelming. They crammed too many pictures onto a page, some illustrations didn’t look like the real animal or object, and the interaction felt limited.
So, I started sketching out what I wished existed: bright, engaging pages with just a few clear illustrations, fun facts to share, and little prompts to make reading interactive. What began as a project for my own daughter has now grown into ChattyCubs — a series of first word books that help parents everywhere enjoy those magical learning moments.
